What You Will Do:

• Determine the sequence of operations, wiring components, cable routing and method of electrical connection to aircraft parts from engineering drawings, material and process standards, functional test reports, wiring diagrams, cable routing manuals and other relevant documents, or by shop methods

• Ensure identification, routing, attachment and connection of cables;

• Performs electrical continuity and grounding tests on electrical circuit conductors;

• Verify the installation and operation of all electrical circuits using test equipment such as testers, ohmmeters, voltmeters, megohmmeters, etc;

• Detect and correct any faults and replace defective components and wires.

• Perform other related duties.

Required Skills and Experiences:

• Professional diploma (DEP) Cable and circuit assembly recognized by the Ministry of Education or military equivalent or equivalent experience in aircraft cable assembly;

• Bilingualism (an asset);

• Possesses strong teamwork skills;

• Is dynamic and innovative and is stimulated by technical challenges;

• Is organized, autonomous and has a strong analytical sense.

Eligibility Criteria :

• Must be eligible for registration with the Controlled Goods Program;

• Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a government of Canada “Reliability” status and Level 2 (Secret) security clearance;

• For on-site positions, our location not accessible by public transport, car/carpooling required : Direction to Our Facility
