Job Description:

L3Harris is seeking a career level professional who desires to work in an environment where nothing is routine! Under the leadership of the Vice President of Global Benefits, this position will be responsible for the management and implementation of several benefits projects.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Project manage global benefit programs, including requests for proposal, plan renewals, plan amendments, plan corrections, plan and process analyses, collective bargaining negotiations and vendor contract negotiations.

  • Coordinate project management efforts with all stakeholders, including benefits, HR, HRIS, payroll, treasury, finance, accounting, legal counsel and external vendors using multiple communication methods.

  • Develop key project management documentation including a scope, project plan, milestones, resources, logs and metrics.

  • Assist with merger, acquisition and divestiture activity, including data gathering, analytics, project management, plan harmonizations and communications.

  • Assist with various implementation projects.

  • Organize and conduct detailed project status and review meetings.

  • Write complex analytical or evaluation reports and prepare presentations on benefit related projects, including status updates, project barriers, successes and relevant data analytics.

  • Develop business processes, program or policy recommendations related to the delivery of global benefit programs; provide support to the decision-making process to implement improvements.

  • Coordinate meetings and develop agenda and relevant presentation materials (i.e., Employee Benefit Committee meetings, regularly scheduled HR Benefits Council meetings, weekly legal counsel meetings).

  • Perform other duties as assigned within the global benefits function.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree with concentration in business or project management, finance, accounting, human resources or related field and a minimum of 2 years of prior relevant experience or 2 years post-Secondary / Associates Degree and a minimum of 6 years of prior related experience.

  • Two or more years of HR, Compensation or Benefits experience.

  • Two or more years of successful project management experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Ability to navigate complex issues while maintaining attention to detail.

  • Excellent written and oral presentation skills.

  • Strong demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Expert computer skills, especially in Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

  • Excellent organization, prioritization and customer service skills to effectively follow-up on complex and detailed work activities.

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive employee and company information.
