L3Harris Capture Manager in Melbourne, Australia

About the opportunity:

L3Harris Technologies is seeking a Program Capture Manager to provide overall leadership and management of the program capture and changes required on the Enterprise Network Modernisation Program (ENMP). In this role, the candidate will lead and manage capture and change for the program, which requires working with the customer, Airservices Australia, as well as with L3Harris personnel and the teammates on the program. This role will be a full-time role working in Melbourne or Brisbane, Australia. This position will require travel to other offices to include Melbourne, Brisbane, Sydney and Canberra.

Essential Functions:

The successful candidate will report to the Program Director for ENMP currently based in Melbourne, Australia. The role requires a candidate who is entrepreneurial and comfortable leading a team in a highly dynamic, challenging and ambiguous environment with a very demanding customer. Must be experienced and comfortable leading within large, complex systems, engineering programs in Air Traffic management, defence or telecommunications.

The responsibilities of your role will include the following:

  • Act as the Capture Manager for the Enterprise Network Modernisation Program (ENMP) managing L3H’s interaction with Air Service Australia.

  • Lead the capture of L3HM Australian and Asia-Pacific ENMP opportunities

  • Support the wider SAS L3Harris Business capture of ENMP opportunities in Australia and the Asia-Pacific.

  • Support the Route to Market of all L3Harris products for Acquisition and Sustainment for the ENMP Program in Australia and the Asia-Pacific.

  • Develop proposals for contract change proposals that lead to an increase in overall footprint of ENMP delivery.

  • Evaluate the current market dynamic, competitor landscape, government regulation and potential opportunities; to define a clear, executable direction for the business in the immediate and long term.

  • Demonstrate a high level of strategic insight, commercial acumen and inquiry, and the ability to work in a fast paced, innovative environment.

  • Provide analysis, financial modelling and strategic insights for business cases and strategic planning.

  • Instrumental for new initiatives and partnerships, monitoring and managing joint ventures and strategic partnership arrangements.

  • This role will report to the Program Director for ENMP and will be accountable for generating incremental revenue through identification and pursuit of new ENMP business ventures

    Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree (Engineering, Business, Project Mgmt., Law) with a minimum of 12 years' related experience, or equivalent industry experience; or Graduate degree (Engineering, Business, Project Mgmt) with a minimum of 10 years’ related experience or equivalent industry experience.

  • Extensive experience leading and managing chature and change

  • Extensive experience leading Air Traffic, Defence or Telecommunications systems integration projects;

    Desirable Skills and Qualifications:

  • Background in Systems Engineering and/or solution development

  • Background in delivering Telecommunications projects within Australia

  • Background in delivering projects into a regulated, safety critical industry such as Air Traffic or Rail within Australia

  • Motivated self-starter with a strong entrepreneurial focus

  • Excellent communication and written skills

  • Proficient in the Microsoft Suite of products
