This opening is for an Inventory Management Supervisor position within the Logistics organization. The candidate will be responsible for the operations of multiple functions within a production environment.
The qualified candidate will be responsible for coordinating and interfacing with Material Program Managers, Customers, Production and Manufacturing areas, and bargaining unit employees. Candidates will be responsible for assigning tasks to employees relating to the performance of daily activities such as tool/inventory control, internal material deliveries and aircraft support services such as aircraft fueling and transportation requests in support of aircraft.
Candidates must possess an attention to detail and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Excellent computer skills required as well as communication skills as this position will have direct reports and will support various work groups/teams.
Requirements of this position include the direct management of multiple tool and material cribs within close proximity to production areas, oversight for tool control, support of daily activities through transactions and audits. This position will also include the management and oversight for all aircraft support services while maintaining adequate response times and monitoring of delivery cycle times.
Job Qualification Requirements:
Bachelor degree with a minimum of two (2) years of applicable experience. A combination of education and experience may also be considered.
Direct work experience in a production/transportation environment is required.
Previous management and/or leadership experience desired.
Must be able to work closely with team members and have a willingness to learn.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, are required.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office required.
The ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Security Clearance, which requires U.S. Citizenship, is required.
