Job Location: Palm Bay, FL, Rochester, NJ or Clifton, NJ
The Communications, Senior Specialist, Tradeshow Manager will be a key member of the MarCom team executing tradeshows and exhibits in support of the Space & Airborne Systems segment. This position will be responsible for planning, implementing, and coordinating tradeshow activities for the segment to include re-branding initiatives. Scope will include harmonizing the company's presence in digital and print marketing collateral as well as booth properties at tradeshows. The tradeshow manager will use their knowledge of the latest communications technologies and tools to execute communications strategies to multiple audiences and cultures through digital, print and face-to-face approaches. They will develop and manage content for internal and external communications channels and will implement communication policies, branding guidelines and editorial procedures consistent with company strategic direction. The successful candidate will be a senior professional with strong knowledge of job area and broad knowledge of project management.
External communications, trade show management, and marketing communications may include developing marketing materials, advertising and promotional programs, and coordinating events and provides recommendations for future marketing promotions
Manages complex projects or processes with general oversight
Communicates within and outside of own function to gain cooperation on operational processes, practices, and procedures
Makes moderate to substantial improvements to systems and processes
Contributes to achievement of departmental goals and operating plans with direct impact on the departmental results
Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 6 years of prior relevant experience; or equivalent experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience; or equivalent experience
5 or more years of tradeshow experience
Preferred Additional Skills:
Experience with project management
Experience organizing a successfully plan, coordinating and tracking exhibits from start to finish
Experience in the Aerospace & Defense industry
Experience with communicating at high levels
