L3Harris’ Communication Systems segment is currently seeking a Engineering Technician C to join our team. This position will be based at our Carlsbad, California facility. A Secret Clearance is required for this position.
Overall Summary:
This role is responsible for maintaining calibration and property records of property owned by the government, company, and associate contractors in accordance with company procedure or government regulations. In addition, this role will assist in supporting lab management compliance and inventory activities.
Essential Responsibilities:
Manage Engineering test assets, monitoring and tracking capital, government, and customer owned assets
Organize, coordinate, and support calibration activities with internal equipment users and outside calibration contractors
Maintains records and logs of property received, transferred, allocated, held, and disposed
Coordinates property transfers
Conducts periodic property inventories
Prepares property status reports
Maintain property management systems and calibration certificates
Pickup and deliver test assets from surrounding buildings. Occasionally may to lift up to 30 pounds when performing this these tasks
Monitor ESD installation and recertification
Support lab administration, audits, and inventory tasks
Ability to work without direct supervision (self-starter)
Basic Qualifications:
Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 6 years of prior relevant experience or 2 years post-Secondary/Associates Degree with a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience.
Active Secret Clearance
Preferred Qualifications:
Strong computer skills proficient use of MS Office Suite & SAP preferred
Ability to communicate (verbal/written/visual) effectively
Ability to productively contribute work, ideas and collaboration as part of a team.
Familiar with FAR/DFAR, AS9100, ISO 17025, Z540 standards
2 years’ experience property management
In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role is $58,500 - $108,500. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
