Job Description:
Aerojet Rocketdyne, an L3Harris Technologies Company, is seeking a Sr. Supervisor, Operations to join our dynamic team located in Camden, AR.
The Sr. Supevisor, Operations will c ommunicate with the team and run the daily SQDIP meetings/review emails by priority/conduct daily safety walks of areas/manage the job functions for each team member and program/plan the production for each week/address all issues reviewed with team/approve team members time/review metrics for improvements/work training for team/track teams attendance and hold accountable.
Essential Functions:
Supervises individual(s) typically consisting of lower level professionals or supervisors and/or higher level support employees.
Leads, directs and reviews the work of direct report(s) to maintain workflow and productivity and ensure weekly objectives are achieved.
Provides input on hiring, firing, promotion, performance and/or compensation decisions for own organization.
Reports to Associate Manager or higher.
Works with customer and other program employees.
Build schedules with foresight of programs requirements.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of 4 years prior Supervisor experience.
In lieu of a degree, minimum of 8 years of prior Supervisor experience.
Preferred Additional Skills:
Proficient in MS Office, Excel and Microsoft word.
